How do I open Javadoc in a different window? [message #1731591] Sat, 07 May 2016 07:04 Go to next message

Hello, everyone.

I guess, my question is a bit on the newbie side, but I didn't manage to find a simple way to achieve what I want.

What I want is actually illustrated on the picture:

When I have some code highlighted and then press Shift+F2, it opens the corresponding Javadoc page.

BUT: it does it in the same window thus hiding the source code.

What I want it to do is to open the javadoc tab in a different subwindow:

index.php/fa/25833/0/

Could anyone suggest anything?

It's already in a different window. Just drag it somewhere else, wherever you want it to be.

What do you mean by "it is already in a different window?".

It's in the same window, where the blue arrow starts from.

And I want it to open in a different window, where the blue arrow points.

Of course, I can drag it from the origin to the destination. But I don't want to do it every time I press Shift+F2. I want it to open there from the start.
