There is no compiler in Eclipse although you can specify which one you want to use. The usual default l is GCC,
So what exactly makes you think there is a problem? What do you mean by "does not recognize the commands"? You say it will work with any other compiler, so have you tried it without Eclipse? If so, in what way is it different than when using eclipse?
It's hard to say what would be relevant to the reason for your posting but you should tell us your operating system, which version of Eclipse you've installed, and which tool chain you've chosen. Try to narrow your question to something much more specific than the equivalent of "this code doesn't work".
EDIT:
In general, I think posting your code and expecting others to debug and correct/rewrite it for you is just rude -- particularly so when the request is vague.
However, since you are apparently unaware, the capability to write anything other than straightforward text to a terminal depends on the terminal. The usual thing is to assume an ANSI terminal but there are others. The standard Eclipse terminal view doesn't seem to understand ANSI sequences. There are plugins available for ANSI codes which may or may not work.
Here are two. I've used neither so can't vouch for them.
