It's of course good to look at examples. There are a great many in the
Eclipse.org project catalog. What you describe is not more complete
that many of the existing setups, e.g., for the Eclipse platform.

There is a task (Project Set Import )that directly works with a *.psf file.
But I don't think this is really the best way. Better to define git
clone tasks, one per clone, and use a targlet task to resolve both the
root IUs from your git clones and the root IUs of the "installation" you
want to use as a target platform. Note that one way to author a
Targlet task is to drag a git clone from the EGit repositories view onto
the Targlet task. So start by defining your git clone tasks so you have
an installation in which you can further refine your project sestup.
