I would like to limit the size of bubbles in a bubble chart to the a certain value (in my case to chart height/#vertical scale steps or chart width/#horizontal scale steps, whatever is smaller).

I tried doing that using a script, unfortunately it seems impossible to set the bubble size to a fixed value (tried beforeDrawDataPoint, beforeDrawMarker, afterComputations).

The most promising approach appears to be the one by Jason Weathersby (https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php?t=msg&th=174832&goto=557020&#msg_557020). But even when setting the size this way, Birt actually recalculates the size.

Is there some way to force Birt to use a certain value for the size of a bubble, instead of calculating it relative to something?
