Extra horizontal lines appear when we resize column header by drag [message #1722324] Thu, 04 February 2016 02:43 Go to next message

When we resize a column by dragging column header extra horizontal lines appear. As soon as we release the mouse button they disappear. Please see the attached screenshot.

Would greatly appreciate if anyone can help me get rid of this.

You mean you want to get rid of the marker overlay that is added to visualize where you are dragging?

If you want to get rid of that feature, you need to override ColumnResizeDragMode and register it as the resize drag mode to use instead. The registering is done in the DefaultColumnResizeBindings

Oh, and since you mentioned in the other post that this is very annoying ... well you are the first person that complains about that feature ... and it is the same behavior as in well-known spreadsheet applications.

But gladly you can customize this behavior in NatTable.
