Hello,

I read the paper (Towards Rigorously Defined Model-to-Model Traceability,Drivalos,Nicholas, Paige Richard F, Fernandes Kiran J,Kolovos Dimitrios S)

I saw one metamodel which is ClassComponent-traceLink metamodel.
In OO2DB example I did not understand why there are two metamodels(TM,SimpleTrace) and two models(Trace.model,OO2DB.model) which are instances from the metamodels as I understood .

Can you please explain why there are two metamodels and what are the steps to generate the trace models with the target model.

Hi,

In the OO2DB transformation, only SimpleTrace is a traceability model. TM (standing for "type-mapping") is a model that specifies how primitive OO types are mapped to primitive DB types. To generate Trace.model you just need to run the transformation (right click on OO2DB.launch and select Run as -> ...). Does this help?

Cheers,
Dimitris
