Hi together,

we woulld like to use eclipselink within a project with special infrastructure:
We use Teradata as Database and to make it more complicated not via jdbc, but via Rest.
As you can see here (cant post the link, due to first post) : please google "teradata magazine online driverless" and take the first result.
the idea of that service is very easy: You send an SQL-Query within a JSON-Message and get back a native JSON-Result.
We would like
* to map our Object via eclipselink and
* use JPQL to generate the queries, that are then sent to the Teradata via HTTP

After crawling the web for some hours i still have no idea how to realise that:
* writing a ne and very special JDBC-Driver?
* wrappig some classes within Eclipselink to force the wished behaviour?
* ....

Can anyone give me some hints?

Thanks in advance!
