Eclipse User

Accidentally I run into "The User Operation is waiting for ... to complete" problem.
Various solutions I found on the internet have not helped.
The problem persisted even after recreating the workspace from scratch.
The project exporting stuck too, but it has highlighted the problem - my application has created a fifo in the project directory and any operations with Eclipse hang on that file.
After removing the fifo Eclipse operations were restored.
