Hello,

Some time back (i think 2012 or 2013) i read some articles about future of NatTable. I also had a talk (in person! Wink

) with Tom Schindl about performance issues with NatTable on JavaFX, but lot of time passed...

Google does not come up with anything newer than 2014, so i ask this here...

Whats the plan or status for NatTable on JavaFX.
Do you work on a 'native' JavaFX version?
Did performance improve if you use SWTonFX (great api by Tom Schindl)?

1. Yes the performance for NatTable with SWTonFX has improved. The reason was a bug in JavaFX regarding clipping on the Canvas, which has been fixed a while ago.
2. Yes I started to work on a native JavaFX version of NatTable. But the interest seem to be low and other topics are higher prioritised. So, I have a plan, and I have started but no plans when it could be finished.
