Hello Guys,

I am using PyDev (version 2.7 (Canopy Express)) in Eclipse.

Recently I get shown an error box which tells me "Multiple errors have occurred". I can't close it because then it immediately appears again.
If I click on details it tells me: "An error has occurred. See error log for more details. org/eclipse/egit/ui/Activator$1$1"

The error log looks like this:
"!SESSION 2015-12-06 15:48:01.175 -----------------------------------------------
eclipse.buildId=4.5.1.M20150904-0015
java.version=1.8.0_65
java.vendor=Oracle Corporation
BootLoader constants: OS=win32, ARCH=x86_64, WS=win32, NL=de_DE
Framework arguments: -product org.eclipse.epp.package.java.product
Command-line arguments: -os win32 -ws win32 -arch x86_64 -product org.eclipse.epp.package.java.product

I put the full error log in the appendix.
Has anybody an idea what exactly causes this error and how I can avoid it?
Thank you very much in advance!!

With kind regards,
Richard

Your attached file mentions "This is a continuation of log file C:\workspace\.metadata\.bak_0.log". That file would be useful for finding the original problem.

Hello Nitin Dahyabhai,

thank you for your response!
You indicated a good point. I put the ".bak_0.log"-File in the appendix.

Thank you in advance for your help! Smile

You might have to use a new workspace, or even reinstall. There's a lot of Python related output that is unfamiliar, and I, at least, can't tell what is or isn't a fatal error in there.

Since PyDev is a third-party tool (not provided or supported by eclipse.org), you should seek help with the community of that tool.
