Two Eclipses on OSX [message #1715095] Thu, 19 November 2015 03:18 Go to next message

Hi All;

I need to have Eclipse Java and Eclipse C/C++ on my machine. Ideally I would have one environment to cater for both but, from what I can understand, Eclipse offers one for each. I downloaded both and copied to my Applications folder, renaming each as relevant (Eclipse-Java & Eclipse-C). However I can only see the Eclipse-C one.

My queries are

a) Can I get a common Eclipse for both Java and C/C++

b) If (a) is false, how can I get both environments show in OSX?

Thanks

Just choose one of the two, then use Help -> Eclipse Marketplace to add
the other.
