I wanted to suggest something to add to the Oomph questionnaire (the
UI that guides the user through some preferences) but I can't seem to
trigger it anymore. Was it completely removed? I have seen a comment
in a bugzilla that says it's removed from the installer step but it
should be shown in the started IDE... Or maybe it's something cached
on my system(s)?

Regards,
Marc-Andre

Marc-Andre,

It's still accessible via Window -> Preferences -> Oomph -> Setup Tasks
-> Start Welcome Questionnaire.

We should probably start the discussion about how best to include it in
the IDE for Neon... Some people were bothered by a dialog that just
pops up, so perhaps it's something that should be featured on an empty
workspace's Welcome page; it's generally useless right now anyway.
Also, some didn't like how it looked (not "standard" enough), others
loved how it looked ("modern"). It's one of those issues that people
seem to love to discuss endlessly with the end result that the status
quo remains, and then of course the endless discussions about what
should be the defaults also remains. It's rather disheartening...

Thanks for the reply! I had seen the bug but it wasn't clear to me if it was shown somewhere else. I can confirm that I can trigger it from the preferences. Thanks!

I wanted to bring up the possibility to choose GTK2 or GTK3 on Linux in the questionnaire. But since it doesn't show up on startup right now, it doesn't make much sense. I'll bring it up again depending on what's decided for Neon.

Thank you for your help!
