Hi,

I have this configuration:

bridge1 {
Thing1:
Thing 2:
}

Whenever, bridge1 goes online or offline, Thing1 and Thing2 will change status accordingly.

My question is, is there a way to intercept (callback or override?) this change of status on Thing1 and Thing2 within BaseThingHandler class?

Thanks.

In certain situations, the status change is intended (and correct), see https://github.com/eclipse/smarthome/pull/442#issuecomment-139691462.
