I have installed
Eclipse for RCP and RAP Developers.
Version : Mars Release (4.5.0)
Also installed
RCP Testing Tool IDE
Version: 2.0.0 M4
I have installed java JRE 1.7_0.72
OS : Windows 7 Professional 64-bit

I encounter a problem when trying to Run a simple Java class from a java Project.

In Eclipse I have switched from Plug-in Development perspective to Java Perspective.
1. I have imported an existing Java Project into Eclipse.
2. I have added a class without main method.
3. I pressed on Run button having selected the new added class.

When trying to Run I get the RCPTT Launch pop up telling me that there are no RCPTT Test cases found.

I am currently learning how create automated tests using ECPTT. I have chosen the above installed version of Eclipse as an AUT.

Hi Alexandru,

Please correct me if I'm wrong, looks like you are trying to run Java class as RCPTT Test, isn't it?
Could you please try to follow Getting Started manual from RCPTT UserGuide, starting from a Test Case creation: https://www.eclipse.org/rcptt/documentation/userguide/getstarted/

Kind regards,
Ulyana.
