Remote Debug - upload with simple FTP [message #1707784]

For remote debugging it is required to upload the application and set permissions.

Try to setup a connection (latest Mars Eclipse), so that the application can be transferred to target device. If I create a new "FTP Only" connection it will not show in the list to choose.
For telnet it work, but file is not uploaded.

Is there a way to combine telnet (for communication and commands) with FTP for upload?

Does someone know how to to deal with that WITHOUT ssh/sftp and the data-storage stuff?
