Unable to start eclipse [message #1707520]

I'v been following a java tutorial on youtube by programmingknowlege, and as title says i cant start eclipse. After double clicking on eclipse.exe splash screen appears for abut half a second, after that nothing happens. I tried eclips both on windows xp and windows 8.1 (same pc) but got the same problem.
