translations in babel package/site [message #1707240] Thu, 03 September 2015 04:42 Go to next message

I tried to add the graphiti babel translations to my target definition, but I can't find them.
index.php/fa/23118/0/

There are translations on babel:
index.php/fa/23119/0/

Is this rather a babel issue, or is action from graphiti project required?
Do I have to get the translations from another location?

greets
Flavio

Flavio,

the translations can be downloaded for here https://www.eclipse.org/babel/downloads.php . Select the Eclipse version you are using and browse for the desired language and Graphiti. There you should find an update site and a ZIP file containing the tarnslations.

Hi Michael,

I thought I must be blind, can not find graphiti in the Mars release:
http://download.eclipse.org/technology/babel/babel_language_packs/R0.13.0/mars/mars.php

After checking the Luna release I realized my eyes are ok:
http://download.eclipse.org/technology/babel/babel_language_packs/R0.13.0/luna/luna.php

So graphiti is in the Luna but not in the Mars release, for what reason?
Are the graphiti translations not Mars read?

Flavio

Flavio,

that's a good point. I just checked and saw that the only available release seems to be 0.11.0. Our Mars release 0.12.0 is missing (but Graphiti 0.12.0 is definately part of Eclipse Mars, only translations are missing). Since I did not find a way to add the release myself I will need to contact the Babel guys; I'll get back as soon as I have a reply.

Hi Flavio,

unfortunatly not so far. As I don't have direct access to the Babel project, I have created a bugzilla to request/guiding how to add Graphiti 0.12.0 but got no reply so far. Here's the link:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=477040

Hi Flavio,

there are news: Graphiti 0.12 is now enabled for Babel, the current translatations are taken over from 0.11, which is ok since only few texts actually changed. I hope the Babel update site will soon contain downloads for Graphiti 0.12.0 as well (yesterdays integration build did not yet contain it).

Thanks Michael, I went over the translations and added some missing German ones.
