Hi,

I was using BIRT and it worked fine. But recently I changed my system and downloaded eclipse birt. When I tried running the report, as I click on 'Run'>'view report' the further options are not shown and there is an error log generated.

I tried the same in BIRT professional, Eclipse luna,Eclipse Mars. The same error related to osgi plugin is generated.

The following error log is generated.

Plug-in org.eclipse.birt.report.designer.ui.preview.web was unable to load class org.eclipse.birt.report.designer.ui.actions.PreviewCascadingMenuGroup.
Could not create action delegate for id: org.eclipse.birt.report.designer.ui.actions.PreviewCascadingMenuGroup
An error occurred while automatically activating bundle org.eclipse.birt.report.designer.ui.preview.web (135).
An error occurred while automatically activating bundle org.eclipse.birt.report.viewer (174).

Hi Roopashree,

Please clean up all the project files and start the a fresh installation. If still not working, just give a try for Eclipse BIRT 4.4.1 or tey with little older version . Hope this could help you out..

Am facing exactly the same issue with Preview of report. Were you able to resolve the issue? If yes, Plase share your solution with me.
