Hi all

I am trying to get BIRT to show values over time in a stepwise fashion (i.e. if the y axis value drops at a point then I want to represent this as a vertical drop and not an angled line). So at 1 point the x-axis value will be the same for a different y-axis value. The x-axis represents time. See attachment for an example of what I want to achieve.

My data set is from a csv file datasource - see other attachment. BIRT ends up ignoring 1 of the values where the y-axis is the same and does not show the "steps". It just shows a straight line. The field : "date_time" is of type date/time and is on the y-axis.

Please let me know if more info is needed?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks
Paul
