During the installing Jboos Tools the Eclipse Keppler R2 on Windows 7 Profesional 64 Bit / Java Version 1.7. Im trying to install jboss by using Market Place but the online version tolds me the next message "Cannot Perform Operation. Compute Alternate solutions make take a while 1/15:.

then i try to uncheck the options of the plugin but still geting error.. then i try the off line update calls: jbosstools-Update-4.1.2.Final_2014-03-18_15-46-19-B706.zip(406Mb) geting the same error: then i thought to asign the all privileges to the ecplise folder and set my user as user/administrator, because aim working in a windows domain.

there is another step that im missing? or file configuration to clean?

So, you're installing latest version of JBoss tools on Eclipse Kepler SR2

I checked JBoss tools on Eclipse Marketplace and it says that it is compatible with Eclipse Kepler.

My suggestion is (1) to follow the installation guide or (2) to download the JBoss developer studio bundle

  1. JBoss tools installation guide: http://tools.jboss.org/downloads/installation.html
  2. install the JBoss Developer Studio: http://www.jboss.org/products/devstudio

If you want to proceed the way you are doing I suggest:

  • Perform the installation in online mode, because when you are offline eclipse can not reach remote software sites (if offline you must double check missing dependencies)
  • Consider that some of the plugins installed on your Eclipse Kepler might conflict with the plugins contained in JBoss tools
