Hello I am a new and Birt and I am just setting it up with XAMMP.
I was able to type in this URL http://localhost:8080/WebViewerExample/frameset?__report=%20test.rptdesign
and was able to make it work from my folder C:\xampp\tomcat\webapps\Birt
I can connect to birt to my MySQL database in the birt designer but when I try to test out a report that connects to my sql database I get this error message:
org.eclipse.birt.report.engine.api.EngineException: An exception occurred during processing. Please see the following message for details: Cannot open the connection for the driver: org.eclipse.birt.report.data.oda.jdbc. org.eclipse.birt.report.data.oda.jdbc.JDBCException: Cannot load JDBC Driver class: com.mysql.jdbc.Driver.
What am I missing?
