Difference between Area and Part Sash Container [message #1705249] Thu, 13 August 2015 05:37 Go to next message

Hello

I was looking at the default JavaFX renderers and stumbled over DefAreaRenderer. It looks pretty similar to the DefSashRenderer. I was wondering: What are the differences between an area and a part sash container? What use case is the Area designed for?

Thanks!
Christoph

The MArea is the guy you see in Eclipse making up the editor area which
if it has multiple stacks showing the maximize icon and because it can
be maximized and restore it also has to have an MUILabel mixin with it
because you need to show an icon and label in the trim for restore ;-)
