Where did Sleak.open() go? [message #1702518] Wed, 22 July 2015 15:52 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
Windows 7 SP1
Version: Mars Release (4.5.0)
Build id: 20150621-1200
Java Project
Java Build Path:
org.eclipse.swt.tools_3.104.0.v20150410-1225.jar
org.eclipse.swt.win32.win32.x86_64_3.104.0.v20150528-0211.jar
I can find no JavaDocs on "org.eclipse.swt.tools"
I get the following error.
"The method open() is undefined for the type Sleak"
Where did Sleak.open() go?

I did a google search and a forums seach but only found another Eclipse forum thread where the same question is not answered.

Is there another tool that replaces Sleak in e4AP?

Does this rise to the level of a bug?
Should I report it?
What project owns it if I were to report it as a bug? "Platform"?
There is no "SWT Development Tools" project in eclipse's Bugzilla.

Forgot to check if the bug was already entered. It was already in Bugzilla. After reading the comments on the bug report I realized how to get it working. Created this FAQ to help others.
