Creating connection without corresponding business object [message #1700753] Mon, 06 July 2015 15:35 Go to next message

In my diagram I would like to create static connections without user being able to create them. These connections will just serve purpose of showing flow of information. User will not be able to create these connections.

Looking at documentation it looks like I need to provide business object that connects source and target, is there a way to create connection with the BO?

I still want to take advantage of some of the features of the connections though, for example connecting to the midpoint of a shape based on change in shape height.

Here is screenshot of the diagram

Alex,

there is no need for a BO to achieve that. You only need 2 shapes witch
anchors and you can create a connection between them. The visualization of
the shapes may also be invisible if you prefer that.

Thanks Michael, I'll give it a try.
