Unable to create project from .git file [message #1700060] Mon, 29 June 2015 17:42
Eclipse UserFriend
Whenever I import a project from git (as simple as possible via the github URI) the following error is thrown:
'Computing Git status for repository repositoryName' has encountered a problem.

An internal error occurred during: "Computing Git status for repository repositoryName".

An internal error occurred during: "Computing Git status for repository repositoryName".
 Should not get here
w.e the hell that last line may mean.
In addition a problem has occured within the VM, crashing my hole workspace afterwhich Eclipse suggests I restart the program. Not restarting the program shows all the repository files in the workspace, however any git interaction fires the same error.

Any suggestions as to what I could try are greatly appreciated.
