For some reason, every keyboard key I type is able to be entered into a document - all
EXCEPT * . This makes CDT useless for C development. I've reset the default key bindings - no change. So I've removed Eclipse from /opt (Linux 64bit) to do a re-install, and proceeded to download again from Eclipse. The download is virtually impossible at 25Kbytes/sec....

Is there an alternate site available?
