Hi,
http://marketplace.eclipse.org/ doesn't seems to be working. But the https://marketplace.eclipse.org/ is fine. So its creating trouble in eclipse ide(Luna) as its trying to get the data from http://marketplace.eclipse.org/.

Usually, when Marketplace doesn't work from Eclipse, it's because of a
temporary problem at Marketplace, you try again later. More often,
however, it's because of a connection problem at your end. The one you
don't think about is that you're behind a proxy that you need to tell
Eclipse about. I'm not where I have access to Eclipse and can go find
how to set that up, but if this is your problem, you could find out how
in Help. Repost if you can't and someone (or I) will be able to help.

Hi arun, did you get this issue fixed?

I'm having the same problem. I have checked the website marketplace and that is working fine but the application is not connecting. I have attached a screen shot of the error log. I'm using eclipse luna IDE for developers 4.4.2

If anyone could help me or point me in the right direction i would appreciate it.

If this problem persists please open a bug on MPC. It looks like a client configuration issue but I am not sure.

I have tried several times a day since last friday with no luck. I have raised a bug now.
