Is there a way to update the visibility of a field when you click another String field to start editing.

For example

I have two stringfields, both visible
but when you set focus on one, to start typing I want the other field to setVisible(false)

Is there a way to do so?

thanks

What UI framework are you talking about? SWT? JFace? AWT/Swing? Other...?
In general, the more context you provide in your question, the more useful the answers will be.
