Hi,

I found an old message from Sven on his blog where he says that they are experimenting Xtext support for other IDE (here) . I'm wondering what is the status about that? I googled a bit but didn't find anything relevant.

I would actually be very interested in being able to resue the power of Xtext to provide an editor for my DSL in Visual Studio. But I know that this is easier said than done...

Thanks,
Cédric

Hi Cedric,

we are working actively on decoupling IDE services from eclipse.
Currently our focus is on web support and IntelliJ IDEA. That said I know people are running Xtext in Visual Studio (through iKVM).
So it's not impossible that this could be one of the next platforms we are looking at.

Sven
