Drag and Container Drop Problem [message #1691732]

I have implemented a drag and container drop functionality. Now I am able to drag and drop from both different viewpoint and model explorer.
But I am not able to do it when i dragged the model from another model.
For example: i have two modeling projects (based on same metamodel and same sirius design) I want to drag and drop from one viewpoint of first model to another viewpoint of second model)
Currently my implementation works within same model only !!!

Any help much appreciated.

Hello,

I think what you meant as "viewpoint" is a diagram.
This will not work because each modeling project has its own editing
domain. However, in the modeling project containing the opened diagram,
you can load the semantic resource of the other modeling project. Under
the modeling project, you have an element "Project Dependencies". Select
its only contextual menu "Add model" and browe workspace to choose the
semantic model of the second modeling project. Now you will see the
second semantic resource under the Project Dependencies element and
should be able to perform your drag and drop.

Thanks Steve
I could not find Project Dependencies menu. Where can i exactly find it.
I can see 'Add model' context menu on the .aird file though. Are you mentioned this one?
