Can't Create New Android Project Anymore . . . [message #1691493] Tue, 07 April 2015 11:34 Go to next message

I'm on Eclipse Luna for standard Java projects.

Yesterday after updating Luna and also the Android SDK, I had a curious problem when trying to create a new project for an Android app.

After filling in the various fields in the dialogue box for New Android Application, I finally click on FINISH button . . .
But - apart from a long blink in the New Android Application window, nothing happens !

No closure of the New Android Application window followed by generation of the usual "Hello World" project.

I tried changing the entries in the various SDK fields.

But it still would not close and generate the project on clicking the FINISH button.

I'm goosed.

Can anyone help me here ?

Sorted out now.

An old project folder in the workspace might have been to blame.

Once deleted, all goes swell.
