I am using Eclipse Luna SR2 and I just updated CDT to 8.6. I am running on Fedora 21, so, I updated the packages eclipse-cdt, eclipse-cdt-llvm, and eclipse-cdt-parsers from 8.5 to 8.6.

The problem is that when I create a new c++ project, the LLVM options no longer show up as supported on the platform. I have to uncheck the "Show project types and toolchains only if they are supported on the platform"

I do this and am able to select the LLVM toolchain and create the project and everything seems to work as it should.

Why is it no longer showing up? I rolled back to 8.5 and it's there as supported.

I'd like to keep 8.6, but, it's concerning that LLVM/Clang no longer show up as supported.

Any suggestions appreciated.
