I am a beginner/learner. Installed Eclipse 4.4.1 with BIRT.
Tried Contents > BIRT Report Developer Guide > Excerpts from BIRT Field Guide > Learning the Basics > Tutorial 1: Building a simple listing report > Task 5 : Lay out the report.

While I could see 5 buttons at the bottom of Layout window viz. "Layout", "Master Page", "Script", "XML Source" and "Preview" in the tutorial, in my layout window the last button "Preview" is missing.

Please Help

The Preview button has been removed in more recent versions of the the product.

To preview the report, from the menu at the top, select Run -> View Report -> In Web Viewer
