Hi all,

I am having a bit of an issue running Tomcat in eclipse. I am new to RESTful Web services so i was trying to follow a tutorial online. It was something really simple. Then i ran into the issue of my server not being able to start.

I get the error you see above when i try to start it. I had some errors before this one but took care of those. I am using attempting to use Jersey in a Dynamic Web Project. I ended up trying this because I am also trying to create a (what i thought) was a simple Android app. Anyways what i ended up doing was removing all my Jersey jar files in my lib directory. The server was then able to start up. Only issue was that now the code i had written that depended on that class were now in error. So i copied over the one class (javax.ws.rs-api-2.0.1.jar) to correct that error then when starting the server i received a "Servlet container" error. So then i copied over the Jersey-container-servlet-core.jar file into the lib directory. The server started. Now when i try to access my web services via the url i get this error:
type Exception report

message org/glassfish/jersey/server/spi/Container

description The server encountered an internal error that prevented it from fulfilling this request.

I checked the logs but for some reason this was not logged. I saw logs from previous errors today but not this one.

I then added the jersey-server.jar file to the library and got this error. Also the server failed to start:
