What do you need to know?

You choose a package, download it and explode it somewhere under your
user area, then run the executable.

This is the right place to ask these questions.

What I meant was where is the the "How To Install" instructions in the eclipse documentation.Even in the web site I did not find "How To Install" described, Why?. For a newcomer it's not easy to figure out what to do with a .zip file specially in a Windows environment when the user is used to deal with .exe installation files by double clicking and executing it?

Well that;s what should be described in the documentation or even in the download page with some more detail. In Windows what path is the correct or the most appropriate path?. Theses questions come in the mind of a newcomer

This is the right place to ask these questions.

Hi,

We're looking for feedback for our new Eclipse Installer, which you can download from
http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/index-developer.php

Hopefully it's easy enough to use so that you don't feel a need for setup instructions anymore ;-)

Cheers
/Eike
