Eclipse Community ForumsLinking copied project to SVN
https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/mv/msg/458552/1017861/#msg_1017861
I am copying project from old laptop to new one. In both laptop I had configure eclipse SVN to point to the same SVN repo location. My project code is huge and network connection is slow so I don't want to checkout code again in new laptop. Instead I just want to copy project from old to new laptop (using flash drive) then be able to check in/out from that new laptop.
How can I do that?
I tried by importing copied project in eclipse but I couldn't figure out how to link to SVN. I have always doing checkout from SVN for every new project. This is new to me so I really appreciate if someone can tell me if this possible or not. If yes then how to do this.
Thanks. ]]>Anjib Mulepati2013-03-12T16:48:50-00:00Re: Linking copied project to SVN

from what i remember, you could relink an imported project to svn (or another team provider) by simply attempting to share the project again (right click project, "Team", "Share project"). Eclipse should notice the project is already shared and offer to use that repository.
