I need to use old TPTP data collector with Java 1.4. But the options for
Pre - JRE 1.5 are not always listed under the monitor tab. How can I get
it to *always* display for a certain project. Sometimes it shows and
sometimes it does not. I have not changed my configuration in weeks! What
am I doing wrong?
How can I force TPTP monitor tab to display Java 1.4 for some projects.
Thanks,

The set of available monitors (Java 1.4, Java 1.5, ...) are presented
based on the Java version used by the Agent Controller (which is the one
that actually executes your application under the profiler). Generally,
Java 1.4- JREs support the Java 1.4 collector, Java 1.5 JREs support
both, and Java 1.6 JREs support only the Java 1.5+ collector.
One caveat: if the Eclipse client has problems communicating with the
Agent Controller, it may display both collectors even when the
underlying Agent Controller JRE supports only one collector.
Bottom line: if you're using the Integrated Agent Controller, check its
Preferences page to see which JRE it uses. If you are using the
standalone Agent Controller, run its SetConfig script (at <Agent
Controller Home>\bin) and specify the JRE to use.
