Eclipse Community ForumsToolchain Editor?
https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/mv/msg/350914/868906/#msg_868906
I've used eclipse off and on for the past 10 years. However, it always seems to be a bit confusing to me how to add a self defined toolchain.
I'm working a lot with ARM and PIC micro-controllers. I'd like to be able to setup toolchain definitions for those projects. Then be able to select the toolchains I previously defined when I build projects for these microcontrollers.
I'm looking at the toolchain editor under project->preferences. However, I cannot figure out for the life of me how to setup a new toolchain (eg ARM, or pic) and point it to the tools that build the project.
Can somebody please point me in the right direction. I've been googling and searching the forum for a solution for a few days now.
