Eclipse Community ForumsAnnoying highlighting in any dark theme
https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/mv/msg/262811/759179/#msg_759179
I recently switched to Eclipse. I like using dark themes on my editors but in Eclipse. On every dark theme I always get this bright highlight. Like on this example: I stopped my cursor at the Car class and all Car words got bright highlighted. Bright highlight + white text = cant see anything.
Is there any way to switch off this highlight? I looked into all preferences and couldnt find it. This highlight makes Eclipse really anoying.
I get this annoyinh highlight regardless to theme in GNOME and Eclipse.
Anoyne using dark theme?
Anyone help?

This comes from a feature called Mark Occurrences. You can control the
colors in the General->Editors->Text Editors->Annotations preference
section. Look for C/C++ Occurrences and C/C++ Write Occurrences.
If you want to completely turn off the Mark Occurrences feature, you can
toggle it in the tool bar using the highlight marker icon.]]>David Wegener2011-11-27T15:18:40-00:00Re: Annoying highlighting in any dark theme
