Eclipse Community ForumsOCLinEcore Editor in standalone application
https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/mv/msg/240236/725697/#msg_725697
I would like to have read only form of OCLinEcore Editor in standalone application.
I am creating Ecore programmatically in a standalone application and i need to have the OCLinEcore type of editor for just read only purpose.
Any Suggessions?

First you need to decide read-only means. ie. at what point in this list
do you prohibit change
File Save
Rename
Cut/Paste
Insert space
Cursor move
Scroll
Select
Hover text
Go to Declaration
Find References
Then disable all functionality for that level.
No File Save is easy.
Some Xtext bindings could just be suppressed.
Perhaps you intercept modify IUnitOfWork.
Better to ask on the Xtext newsgroup whether Xtext has a browse mode.

As OCLinEcore editor shows the emfatic text so it means the functionality to generate emfatic text from Ecore is already there. I just want to reuse that so i can generate emfatic text from Ecore.
