Eclipse Community ForumsARM with AspectJ
https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/mv/msg/23760/76825/#msg_76825
After some cool stuff I saw at the Rational Software Development
Conference 2006, I wanted to checkout the new ARM functionality of Eclipse
TPTP. I'm using Eclipse WTP 1.5, TPTP 4.2 on a Debian Linux (Sid) box. I
managed to get the ARM functionality up and running using Probes
injection. However, no data get's collected when I select the AspectJ
injection. I've installed the AJDT 1.4.0. I'm using the Sun JDK 1.5.0_06
for both Eclipse and the Agent Controller.
Has someone already succeeded in getting ARM up and running using AspectJ?
If so, does someone know how I can get the AspectJ injection to work?
With kind regards,
Duncan]]>Duncan Doyle2006-07-10T20:34:12-00:00Re: ARM with AspectJ

is a META-INF directory with the aop.xml file exists. Also for aspects
you may need to specifically include the packages or classes to instrument
from the Instrument Collector filters. Does your filters include the
class you wish to instrument?]]>Matt Mings2006-07-11T18:48:04-00:00Re: ARM with AspectJ

In your project folder under the output folder (bin) check to see if
there is a META-INF directory with the aop.xml file exists. Also for
aspects you may need to specifically include the packages or classes to
instrument from the Instrument Collector filters. Does your filters
include the class you wish to instrument?]]>Matt Mings2006-07-11T19:27:54-00:00
