Eclipse Community ForumsCheckout while a folder with same name already exists
https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/mv/msg/164109/519632/#msg_519632
I have a question about a Subversive behaviour that I would consider as a bug.
When I checkout a folder into an existing non-shared project.
If a folder with the same name already exists in the project, Subversive asks me if I want to override it.
I tick the folder it and confirm.
But finally, Subversive does not override the existing folder. It creates a new one with suffix "_(1)" and keep the existing folder unchanged.
Do you confirm that it is a bug ?
Have you planned to fix it ?
Thanks in advance

This is not a defect, such behaviour is done intentionally in order you not
to loose your data.
