Is there a way to monitor creation of controls in the SWT hierarchy?
For example, in Swing one can use recursively added java.awt.event.ContainerListener or to do it centrally using:

There's not currently notification available for creation of Controls. This
has been asked before, but I don't see an existing feature request for it in
bugzilla, so feel free to log one at https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi?product=Platform &component=SWT&bug_severity=enhancement .
