Eclipse Community ForumsTask List Indexer error
https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/mv/msg/1103374/1824460/#msg_1824460
I reinstalled the newest version of Eclipse few minutes ago. Also I changed the Workspace folder which should be automatically synchronized by Google Drive (Google File Stream locally on my computer to be specific).
Installation easy as always but when I open Eclipse I have now an error message saying: An internal error occurred during: "Task List Indexer".
java.nio.channels.OverlappingFileLockException
Could this be related to Google Drive synchronization?
Or any other ideas?
I updated the mylyn task lists folder location in preferences and I have no "Kama-Pc conflicted copy" or similar. Just a write..lock data in this folder which seems empty (checked with editor).
Thanks for your help!

projects (by default) as well as frequently accessed data like search indexes and others specific to that
machine. You might have better luck putting just your projects on Google File Stream, but
synchronization is most stable and tested with an actual SCM like git or cvs. I don't know how reliable
File Stream is supposed to be, but I would look at storing a workspace on any cloud storage like it were
stacked onto a ticking time bomb.
When creating your projects, you can usually pick where they'll be created on disk using the Advanced
section of the wizard page. You should be able to import projects you've already stored in the cloud into
a local workspace, and possibly avoid this OverlappingFileLockException.]]>Nitin Dahyabhai2020-04-15T18:27:13-00:00
