Eclipse Community ForumsCC2650: Receiving constant values for light and temperature from SensorTag
https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/mv/msg/1089794/1775654/#msg_1775654
I am trying to read sensor values from sensor tag - cc2650 from my application deployed on Kura .
When i try to read i see constant values for Light and temperature.
Even when i turn off the light i get same value which is 64 for light.
My hardware revision version is - 1.3.2
Software version - 1.2.1
I am attaching the logs and deployment plugin for your reference.
I have enabled only temperature and light options in my application.
My firmware version is 1.30.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,

I suspect that the new version of TiSensorTag firmware has changed the handles addresses for the internal sensors. So the example bundle tries to read data from a wrong address. Please take a look here for a post with a similar problem.
To check the handles used by the example, take a look here
What version of Kura are you using? On which device?
The new Kura 3.1.0 for RaspberryPi uses the TinyB library to communicate with BLE devices and there shouldn't be any problems to connect also to the newest SensorTags, since it uses the UUIDs of the sensors instead the handles.
Best,
Pier

Thanks for your reply.
Yes the handles have changed.
Once i updated the handles with the handles on my device it works fine.
Thanks for helping me out.]]>Divya Nar2018-01-12T00:14:54-00:00
