I've strange behavior only with eclipse pdt oxygen on centos 7.3 uptodate.
Scite, gedit can write files, eclipse not.
This files have rights set like -r--rw---- (460) with umask 0002.
owner is "apache" that is not involved in eclipse instance credentials or in GUI.
group is "users" that is a optional group of my GUI current user.
Why eclipse set file editing to read-only like scite or others editors does not?
Thanks to eclipse gurus, but it's too late i've a headhache :)]]>robin hook2017-08-22T21:32:56-00:00Re: Read Only files when owner has not rw but owner isn't eclipse user group is!

But no luck this time i've an error message "An internal error occurred during: "Modifying Include Path".
java.lang.NullPointerException" and my sources files are still read-only when other editors can edit and write changes ...]]>robin hook2017-08-25T22:23:56-00:00Re: Read Only files when owner has not rw but owner isn't eclipse user group is!

So now eclipse proposes to me to make my files writable after a modifiation, when i click "yes" it put the write flags on the owner of the file that is apache user.
So it works, but it is unsatisfaying this weacken my security to authorize apache to write in script file, as a computer that is world-wide accessible it is unacceptable even for a dev server.]]>robin hook2017-08-25T22:47:21-00:00Re: Read Only files when owner has not rw but owner isn't eclipse user group is!
