Eclipse Community Forums[Edapt] Can I use Edapt to migrate view models?
https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/mv/msg/1074142/1721148/#msg_1721148
I have one question. If I have an ECP Project with an Ecore based on an XSD file and I create a View Model Project with a lot of view models, can I use Edapt also to migrate these models? (I know it is used for model instances). For example, if I remove an attribute from Ecore and my view has this attribute as a textfield control, how can I migrate also these view models? Can this be done?
Thanks,

I do not think that you need EDAPT for those use cases. This could
actually be handled by the EMF Forms tooling. It already validates view
models, if you open them. It could also check on a change of an Ecore
model, if any view model got broken. This would be an extension. Please
let me know, if you are interested in contributing or sponsoring such as
feature.
Best regards

I will think about that and I will let you know.
Thank you very much for your answer!
