there were some missunderstandings regarding website migration. Due to this the documentation webhosting was disabled without a replacement. We are currently working on a fix, but it might take a couple of days.
A temporaryly hostet version of the documentation can be found here URL-REMOVED, see official link below . It will be removed once the official documentation is back online.
EDIT:
The original etrice website (https://www.eclipse.org/etrice) is back online. The official documentation can be reached from there.

Could you help me please?
Thanks

Thanks so much, that was indeed the issue. I opted to install JustJ JRE into the IDE via Help/Install New Software. Not being sure which feature to select, I chose JustJ Adoptium OpenJDK Hotspot JRE Complete, and that allowed me to install the eTrice plugins..

it seems that the STM32Cube IDE is using a stripped java installation and misses some functionality that is indirectly required by eTrice (Xtext -> JDT). Therefore, switching to a "regular" java installation should help. You can try to install JustJ JRE via Eclipse (Help -> Install New Software), the download site url can be found here https://download.eclipse.org/justj/jres/11/updates/release/latest/index.html. Alternatively, you can specify the java installation manually with the -vm option in the ini file https://wiki.eclipse.org/Eclipse.ini#-vm_value:_Windows_Example.

https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/mv/msg/1110306/1850737/#msg_1850737
As the STMicrolectronics STM32Cube IDE is Eclipse-based, I took a shot at installing eTrice into the IDE. It didn't work, with the attached error dialog popping up when the IDE is restarted after the install. I also noticed that existing C project Properties cannot be shown in the IDE (both Explorer and Menu).
Is this something that should, theoretically, work? Or is eTrice restricted to Eclipse sourced IDEs?
CubeIDE version is 1.9.0 (based on Eclipse 2021-12).
Thanks,

https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/mv/msg/1110210/1850441/#msg_1850441
eTrice has moved to Eclipse GitLab https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipse/etrice/etrice.
From now on, the eTrice source code is hosted there.
Also, the issues are tracked there and our old Bugzilla database shall not be used anymore.
Cheers
Henrik

I know this thread is a bit old, but as I've started working on an STM32 project and was thinking of trying eTrice, I wanted to touch base to see if there is any further input regarding this topic. Did I understand correctly that the suggestion in the most recent reply was to develop the eTrice application, along with its runtime and modellib, as a separate Eclipse library project and reference that library from the STM32 IDE of choice (STM32CubeIDE in my case)?
