Jérôme Bourgeais
Seasoned software engineering leader with over 28 years of experience spanning telecom protocol development, mobile platform integration, and embedded systems tools. Currently Director of the STM32 Tools department at STMicroelectronics, Jérôme leads a multi-site organization responsible for the full STM32 Cube developer tools, including STM32CubeMX, STM32CubeMX2, STM32CubeIDE, STM32CubeProgrammer, STM32CubeMonitor and the STM32CubeIDE for VS Code extension, used by millions of embedded developers worldwide on a yearly basis.
His career has taken him from writing GSM/GPRS Layer 3 protocol stacks at Mitsubishi Electric, through handset customer support and project leadership at Philips, modem platform integration at NXP and ST-Ericsson, to building and directing product and software teams at STMicroelectronics across STM32 Cube tools, Android/AndroidTV, and Smart Home platforms.
