2025 Board Election - Time to Vote!

Member representatives of Eclipse Contributing Members: It’s time to cast your vote.

The Eclipse Foundation holds annual elections for board members representing the Committer Members and the Contributing Members. The term of office for these elected board members is one year, commencing 1 April 2025.

Based on the number of Strategic Members as of 1 February 2025, there will be three elected Committer Member representatives and three elected Contributing Member representatives on the board for the term of office from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026.

We thank all nominees for their commitment, and contributions to the Eclipse Foundation, and for taking the time to run for election.

This year, only three nominations have been received for Committer Member representatives, nominated were: Matthew Khouzam, Shelley Lambert and Ed Merks. Therefore no elections are required for this membership class and the candidates were acclaimed to the Board. Congratulations Matthew, Shelley and Ed, on the renewal of your term!

The Member representatives of Eclipse’s Contributing Members are eligible to vote, and should have received a notice to vote and credentials by email on 10 February. If you haven't received it, please check your spam folder for an email from invitations@mail.electionbuddy.com. If you are still unable to locate your notice or access key, please contact us at elections@eclipse.org.

Online voting will close on Friday, 28 February 2025 at 21h CET, and the new representatives will be announced via Community Bulletin on 4 March 2025.

2025 Annual General Assembly - Mark Your Calendar!

The annual general assembly of the Eclipse Foundation AISBL will be held on Tuesday, 8 April 2025 at 16:00-17:00 CEST via Zoom. Members can also join the meeting in person at Spaces Omniturm, 1st floor, Grosse Gallussstrasse 16-18, 60312, Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

The Convening Notice will be sent to members the week of 24 February; all are encouraged to join. If you wish to attend in person, RSVP to: secretary@eclipse-foundation.org at the latest by 4 April 2025 at 22:00 CEST.

Note that while all members are welcome to join, voting is restricted to Voting Members (i.e. Member representatives of Strategic and Contributing Member organisations) or their proxies. An email including the agenda and specific instructions regarding attending and/or voting electronically in advance will be sent by mid-March.
